This position is for the PagoNxt Payments team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a Head of software engineering, you will.
To run and growth and SW engineering team.
“Develop and evolution of the Payments Platform” Oversee the software development process, manage software engineers, and ensure the quality of software products.
Drives the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies.
Being the main responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision of the product.
Participate in the design of the overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem Mentor IT Engineering Leads at any technical aspect Identify, drive, and optimize technical and business process flows Communicate with product organisation, platform and main stakeholders regarding payments platform evolution EXPERIENCE At least 10 years managing IT SW Engineering teams Experience working with systems, following CI / CD / DevOps practices EDUCATION Language skills - English (fluid written and oral), Spanish would be a plus Degree not required.
But preference for computer science or computer engineering.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE High communication skills High analytical skills Knowledge of Microservices architectures, API Design, REST APIs Basics of Cloud computing (AWS preferred) Knowledge of distributed architectures and the challenges they entail Experience working in an Agile way would be a plus
