Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - €110,000 + Bonus – Malaga (Hybrid) – Financial ServicesOverview:A market leading financial services organization are searching for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join them in their Malaga office.Role & Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain security measures for cloud infrastructure, with a focus on AWS security best practices.Conduct security assessments of containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.Improve the security of Linux-based systems, particularly Debian, by implementing hardening measures and monitoring tools.Develop and enforce security policies for infrastructure and internal services.Analyze and respond to security incidents, including forensic investigations and root cause analysis.Automate security tasks using modern scripting languages to enhance efficiency and consistency.Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques relevant to cloud and containerized environmentsTechnical Requirements:Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, particularly in AWS (IAM, VPC security, Security Groups, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, etc.).Be proficient in securing containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and understanding their associated risks.Possess experience in Linux system hardening (e.g., Debian), including configuring firewalls (iptables/nftables), access controls, and monitoring tools.Understand modern networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and their associated security implications.Have experience in vulnerability management, including identifying, prioritizing, and remediating infrastructure vulnerabilities.Be skilled in automating tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.Have hands-on experience with AWS security tools like AWS Config, Inspector.Are familiar with Kubernetes security tools such as Kube-bench or Kube-hunter.Have experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.Hold certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS), or CompTIA Linux+.Package:€110,000 Base SalaryExcellent BonusHybrid Working (Malaga)Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - €110,000 + Bonus – Malaga (Hybrid) – Financial Services
