CYBER THREAT INTELLIGENCE CAPABILITY LEADER

OverviewThe cyber threat intelligence capability leader is responsible for developing and managing the cyber threat intelligence function within the organization. The cyber threat intelligence capability leader oversees the collection, analysis, and dissemination of relevant and actionable information on cyber threats, actors, and incidents that may affect the organization's assets, operations, and reputation. The cyber threat intelligence capability leader also coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, such as security teams, business units, senior management, law enforcement, and industry peers, to ensure timely and effective response to cyber threats and incidents.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the cyber threat intelligence strategy, framework, and processes for the organization.Providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluation.Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external sources of cyber threat intelligence, such as security vendors, intelligence agencies, law enforcement, and industry peers.Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's assets, operations, and risk appetite, as well as the cyber threat landscape and emerging trends.Identify and prioritize the most relevant and critical cyber threats and actors that may pose a risk to the organization.Produce and deliver timely and actionable cyber threat intelligence reports, briefings, and alerts to various audiences, such as security teams, business units, senior management, and board of directors.Provide recommendations and guidance on how to mitigate, prevent, or respond to cyber threats and incidents, based on the cyber threat intelligence analysis and findings.Monitor and measure the effectiveness and impact of the cyber threat intelligence function and activities, and report on the key performance indicators and metrics.Continuously improve the cyber threat intelligence capability, tools, and methods, and ensure alignment with the best practices and standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, information security, intelligence studies, or related field, or equivalent work experience.At least 5 years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, cyber security, or related field.Strong knowledge and skills in cyber threat intelligence methodologies, frameworks, and tools, such as MITRE ATT&CK, Diamond Model, STIX/TAXII, etc.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies from various sources of data and information.Strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to convey complex and technical information in a clear and concise manner to various audiences.Strong leadership and management skills, and ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a team of cyber threat intelligence analysts.Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Certifications in cyber threat intelligence, cyber security, or related field, such as GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI), Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc., are preferred.
