This is your opportunity!We are looking for two Data Engineers to join our team!Data Engineer to support Digital Insights with the end to end responsibility, to retrieve, store and model data, develop and maintain data pipelines, and develop solutions to support the use cases. Description of role and responsibilities:Designs and builds conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts which conform to existing standards and conventionsAnalyzes structural requirements and builds data pipeline and models for new software and data analytics applicationsThe Data Engineer operates data cleaning as a preliminary stage of analyticsMaps data sources, documents data architecture, data interfaces, and data movement to have an accurate view of the larger data pictureContributes to end-to-end data lifecycle management activities, including monitoring of pipelines and data qualityEvaluation and recommendation of new data management and storage technologies/standardsLook for patterns coming out from the data. Data StorytellingData understanding / Data preparation / Data analysis.Education degree & experienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.+3 years of experience of Data Engineer activities:Knowledge programming in Spark with Scala or PythonBig Data EngineeringSqlExperience working in cloud environments, DatabricksKnowledge in MLOps/DataOpsAgile WorkingKubernetes would be an added advantage.Technical knowledge/AccountabilitiesKnowledge about preparation/integration of algorithms in IT-infrastructuresKnowledge in machine learning techniquesExperience in the usage of statistics methods, Machine Learning und AIData Modeling, Data Pipelines, Solution DevelopmentExperience using analytics programming languages (Python, Scala, SQL) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.Experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably Microsoft Azure Not required but highly valued:Experience with Hadoop, Spark, SQL, NoSQLDatabricks, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, DeltaLakeKnowledge working in agile software development.Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, MicroStrategy or similar Reporting SolutionsBusiness skills:Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.Good written and oral communication skills.
