The candidate would be point to help the customer navigate a series of infrastructure changes, starting with master data source transitions, API upgrades between systems, and ultimately preparing for a potential CRM-like Healthcare Professional Contracting and Meetings system change requiring various data loads, and preparing for system retirement (data archiving tasks).
What You'll Be Doing.
Analyse, plan and execute database migration projects (heterogeneous and homogeneous).
Provide effort estimation and POC for different database migration projects.
Design migration strategies that optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
Develop scripts and tools for migrating data between different databases ensuring data integrity and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, and project managers to ensure successful migrations.
Perform testing and validation of migrated data and schema to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Create documentation including migration plans, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise during and after migrations.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to database management and migration.
