As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.Job Description:You will be responsible for managing data pipelines, transforming raw data into usable formats, and ensuring data quality and reliability. Your work will enable data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to access and analyze data effectively.The different teams work closely together which provides opportunities to participate in business and data science initiatives.Key Responsibilities:1. Data Pipeline Development: - Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data from various sources. - Optimize and automate data workflows to ensure data availability and freshness.2. Data Modelling: - Create and maintain data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting requirements. - Ensure data structures are efficient, scalable, and align with business needs.3. Data Transformation: - Cleanse, transform, and enrich raw data into usable formats for analysis and reporting. - Implement data integration processes to consolidate data from disparate sources.4. Data Quality and Governance: - Establish data quality standards and procedures to maintain data integrity. - Monitor and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.5. Data Security: - Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations. - Implement access controls and encryption measures to protect sensitive data.6. Documentation and Collaboration: - Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, pipelines, and data dictionaries. - Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Qualifications:- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medior data engineering or related roles.
