They are seeking a Data Engineer that will develop and maintain database architecture and code initiatives supporting internal and third-party software solutions, delivering excellent products in scope and on time, and meeting current and long-term business needs for the business area. Participate in an agile team of motivated, driven, high-energy engineers, building trust and confidence with team members and business stakeholders.
Tasks
Collaborate with product teams to deliver timely, effective, and high-performance data solutions
Design and implement scalable data architectures, including developing automated pipelines
Maintain and optimize database systems to ensure consistent application performance and availability
Analyze business data requirements to identify data needs and integrate data from diverse sources
Support new product launches, system enhancements, and implementation efforts
Foster team growth by mentoring, coaching, and collaborating with colleagues
Requirements
Degree in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
Between 2 and 4 years database developer experience (SQL Server or equivalent)
Ability to create data models for the integration of multiple systems
Ability to create and maintain stored procedures
Ability to write SQL queries and statements to explore source data and data issues
Knowledge of cloud data technologies and architecture
Knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation (or Powershell)
Knowledge of building CI/CD pipelines for code deployment
Knowledge of BI tooling, Power BI preferred
Familiarity with data-specific unit testing frameworks
