Job description We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Windows Administrator to join our team in Pune.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows administration, with expertise in patching using SCCM, vulnerability remediation, DFS, Print services, Commvault backup administration, and basic Azure administration.
Key Responsibilities.
Windows Administration.
Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as backups, restorations, and health checks.
Implement and manage security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues.
SCCM Administration.
Manage and maintain SCCM infrastructure, including software distribution, patch management, and operating system deployment.
Perform SCCM configuration and deployment of software and patches.
Monitor and troubleshoot SCCM client health and performance issues.
Create and maintain SCCM reports and dashboards.
Vulnerability Remediation.
Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities in the Windows environment.
Implement security patches and updates to ensure systems are protected against threats.
Collaborate with security teams to develop and implement remediation plans.
DFS and Print Services.
Configure and manage Distributed File System (DFS) for file sharing and replication.
Manage and maintain print services, including printer setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Commvault Backup Administration.
Administer and maintain Commvault backup solutions to ensure data protection and recovery.
Perform regular backup and restore operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs and resolve any issues.
Azure Administration.
Perform basic administration tasks in Azure, including virtual machine management, storage, and networking.
Monitor and manage Azure resources to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Must have professional/technical qualification Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in Windows administration.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Proficiency in SCCM, DFS, Print services, and Commvault backup administration.
Basic knowledge of Azure administration.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Certifications.
Microsoft Certified.
Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified.
