DIGITAL ELECTRONICS ENGINEER FPGA

We are looking for a Digital Electronics Engineer, Specializing in Programmable Logic (FPGA). Our client is a Spanish high-tech company, a pioneer in solutions based on photonic technology for the defense and space sectors. Their commitment to innovation drives them to develop unique, high-performance applications to meet the challenges of a constantly evolving industry.Your main mission will be to design and implement Digital Electronics Systems in Programmable Logic—either internal modules (IP Cores) or complete system integrations on an FPGA—based on the specifications provided or gathered from the client (external or internal) to deliver a product.Responsibilities:Gather specifications, perform the complete design, implementation, and commissioning of the defined systems and IP cores.Prepare the delivery for the client and provide follow-up and support for the developed modules and integrations.Integration of high-speed ADCs (in the Gbps range) into FPGA projects.Development of modules with AXI, AXI-Lite, and AXI-Stream interfaces for Xilinx.Synchronization of high-speed ADCs across multiple FPGAs.Data parallelization and serialization in FPGA.Real-time synchronization of high-throughput data (in the tens of Gbps range) between multiple FPGAs.Development of serial communication modules: SPI, I2C, UART, etc.Development of high-speed serial modules: PCIe, AURORA, 10Gbit, etc.Development of read and write modules for DDR memory with DMA access from a microcontroller.Creation of signal processing modules: filters, FFTs, DDCs, etc.Development of information packet clustering modules in FPGAs.Configuration of various embedded system platforms with FPGAs and microprocessors, such as Zynq-7000.Integration of Xilinx IP Cores into FPGA development projects.Requirements:Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Programmable Logic.Over 3 years of proven experience in Programmable Logic (FPGA).For Senior position Level: Minimum of 8 years in design and verification.Experience in FPGA programming using VHDL/Verilog.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of digital signal processing.Familiarity with high-speed digital buses (SATA, PCIe, Ethernet, etc.).Proficiency in Python programming.Experience with version control systems and issue tracking tools.Spoken and written English proficiency; Spanish will be considered a plus.Our client offers:Joining a leading company in photonic technology with global impact.A young and dynamic environment.
