Descripción The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education.
ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level.
Research is organized in three main areas, Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Child and Maternal Health, and Urban Health, Climate & Non-Communicable Diseases.
ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry, being the first global public health centre to receive this recognition.
Lugar Barcelona, Campus Clinic WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Within the framework of the Severo Ochoa Programme, ISGlobal is seeking a Digital Innovation Manager to be part of the Knowledge and Technology Transfer area in the Innovation Department to support innovative research projects with potential health-related social and economic impact.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree, Master or PhD in the field of Health and Life Sciences, Public Health, Bio-Engineering and any other related fields.
MBA or business postgraduate studies will be a plus.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Knowledge, skills and professional experience in the areas of  Digital project management Knowledge and technology transfer Business development and business plan design Data analysis  Knowledge of the Catalan, national and European science, technology and innovation systems as well as of the technology transfer procedures and associated regulations.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES Support the Knowledge, Technology transfer, and business development activities of the ISGlobal Innovation department.
The Innovation department promotes new discoveries and ideas generated by ISGlobal researchers, bringing them to society in several ways.
Identifying interventions with potential health and socioeconomic benefits and developing strategies to transfer them in the real world Proactively identifying needs and opportunities in the area of health and pinpointing areas suitable for collaboration Creating sustainable products and services designed to improve patient access, health equity and the quality of health care SPECIFIC DUTIES Support the knowledge and technology transfer process of innovative projects.
Manage and evolve Innovation projects portfolio in alignment with the ISGlobal Innovation strategy.
Drive innovation process.
intellectual property protection, development and exploitation of digital solutions (i.
.
software platforms, eHealth, etc).
Scout internal innovation projects applying the idea disclosure form.
Support researchers to prioritize ideas, build and test hypothesis.
Drive ideas from concept to product/market fit.
Create business cases for innovation project, identify and mitigate risks.
Identify and build relationship with external vendors.
Disseminate Innovation projects across and outside the organization.
Contribute to shape Innovation culture within the organization.
Participate in internal and external training activities.
Fulfill other related specific assignments.

SELECTION PROCESS The selection process is two phases.
1-    Interview with member of the TB research group to assess the candidate’s skills and CV.
2-    Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional matters.
If needed, a technical test may be issued.
A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process.
After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview.
A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
