This is what you can expectThe ALTER TECHNOLOGY Equipment Testing and Certification Laboratory located in Tres Cantos (Madrid), as a provider of product compliance services for companies in highly demanding sectors such as Aerospace and Defense, Security, Industrial, Railway, etc., is looking for engineers and test technicians for their Electrical Safety test area according to the CE marking low voltage directive forelectronic equipment (LVD).It will be integrated into the laboratory, to expand its team and its capabilities in carrying out the tasks of electronic instrumentation management, execution of electrical tests, reporting and customer support. We are looking for qualified people, with a great interest in technology andmethodologies that include a wide spectrum of disciplines.The main tasks to be performed:Preparation and execution of tests on electrical/electronic equipment.Knowledge of the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD 2014/35/EU) and Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).Knowledge and management of test instrumentation: Power supplies, Power meters, Data loggers, Signal generators, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters.Preparation of quality documentation: Preparation of test reports, monitoring of incidents and failures during the testing process. Operating Instructions.Interlocution with the client. Test protocol.Development of automation programs for electrical measurements (ie: Labview) to improve laboratory production and efficiency.This is what we expectHigher degree Electronic Studies, degree in industrial engineering / electronics / electricity / telecommunications / physical sciences or other related area will be positively valued.Experience or knowledge in working in a testing laboratory, preferably laboratories accredited by ENAC under the ISO 17025 standardKnowledge of the standards covered by the LVD Directive such as:Information technology equipment -EN 62368-1Electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory - EN 61010-1Electrical equipment of machines - EN 60204-1Railway Applications - EN 50155, EN 50124-1Protection systems - EN 60255-27Person committed to quality, responsible, efficient, flexible, with the capacity for teamwork, initiative and independence.Proficiency in spoken and written EnglishKnowledge of automation programs (LabVIEW), the use of other automation or design tools will also be valued.
