We are looking for test engineers and technicians to take on the role of TechnicalManager (RTA) in the Electrical Safety testing area according to the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) for CE marking of electronic equipment.Responsibilities:Train and manage SEG staff and lead the development and objectives of the area.Manage and optimize SEG test instrumentation in accordance with the work area.Provide analysis of the operational mode of the area, procedures, and propose improvements.Lead, prepare, and execute tests on electrical/electronic equipment in high-reliability sectors such as Defense, Aerospace, Industrial, Telecommunications, Transportation, etc.Serve as a technical reference for pre-sales support and upcoming SEG accreditation processes.Prepare quality documentation (test reports, operating instructions, procedures, or test plans).Lead the development of automation and digitization programs in the area.Communicate and coordinate with clients, colleagues from other lab areas, the Sales Department, the Notified Body, and lab management in multidisciplinary testing campaigns.Oversee area investments (measurement equipment, software needs) and assess new markets and technologiesThis is what we expectHigher degree in Electronics, Engineering degree in Industrial / Electronics / Electrical / Telecommunications / Physical Sciences, or a related field (positively valued).Experience or knowledge in test laboratory work, preferably in laboratories accredited by ENAC under ISO 17025 standards.Experience with the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD 2014/35/EU) and Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC).Experience with standards covered by the LVD Directive, such as:Information Technology Equipment: EN 62368-1.Electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use: EN 61010-1.Electrical equipment of machines: EN 60204-1.Railway Applications: EN 50155, EN 50124-1.Protection Systems: EN 60255-27.Commitment to quality, responsible, efficient, flexible, team player, proactive, and independent.Fluent in spoken and written English.Knowledge of automation programs (LabVIEW), as well as other automation or design tools.Knowledge and handling of test instrumentation:Power supplies, power meters, data acquisition systems, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters.Preparation of quality documentation:Preparation of test reports, tracking incidents and failures during testing.Test ProtocolsOperational instructions.
