EMBEDDED SYSTEMS ENGINEER

At Qurv, we create a paradigm shift in computer vision-based applications (automotive, XR, and robotics) by developing mass-deployable infrared image sensors that enable machines to see better and more, unlocking new functionalities.We are looking for an Embedded System Engineer to join our Barcelona team and work together to push the limits of Qurv’s wide-spectrum image sensor technology. You will be working closely with product and application functions. Your expertise in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems will play an important role in developing successful prototypes and demonstrators.Key Responsibilities:Design circuit boards. Integrate image sensors and other hardware components.Develop firmware, software, and drivers for hardware components.Design, implement, and test software for data acquisition and processing.Generate and qualify prototypes and demonstrators. Ensure system stability, reliability, and performance. Debug and troubleshoot embedded systems.Create technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.Participate in project planning.Support internal and external customers.About you:MSc or higher degree in electrical engineering, or other relevant field with demonstrated deep understanding of electrical engineering.Proven experience with C++, VHDL/Verilog, and Python.PCB design capabilities with signals up to 200 MHz, utilizing DDR memory and FPGAs.Knowledge of physical interfaces such as SPI, UART, LVDS, I2C, CAN, MIPI, Ethernet, and IEEE 488/GPIC.Background with camera systems, image sensors or computer vision is required.Familiar with gated imaging systems is a plus.Advanced level of English.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.What it's like to work with us:High-growth, multicultural, and friendly environment.Flexible working hours and trust culture.Continuous professional training.Opportunities to grow with the company.Flexible benefits scheme.Health and well-being packaging, including Wellhub and private health insurance.Office 10 minutes away from the sea.We have team members from multiple countries while promoting an inclusive environment for all employees and candidates.Come and join us!
