Position Overview.
The Emerging Technology Innovation team is seeking a motivated and talented Communication Intern to join our dynamic team.
This intern will play a critical role in supporting our content creation, dissemination efforts, and event management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and design skills, with a passion for transforming complex research findings into engaging and accessible materials.

Communication in our Emerging Technology Innovation team Training through practical experience.
Content Creation and Design.
Develop visually appealing and informative slide decks, videos, and white papers that effectively communicate research findings and innovations.
Utilize graphic design software to create compelling visual content.
Assist in drafting and editing written content for various platforms, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
Publishing and Dissemination.
Publish content across multiple communication channels such as Workplace, the team portal, and internal events.
Support both internal and external communication efforts to ensure broad dissemination of research and innovations.
Collaborate with team members to develop and execute content dissemination strategies.
Event Management.
Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events, including logistics management, promotional activities, on-site coordination, and post-event evaluation.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless event execution.
Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase event attendance and engagement.
Collaboration and Support.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and synthesize information for content creation.
Provide support for various communication initiatives and projects as needed.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
Requirements.
Educational Background.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communication, Design, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Familiarity with STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and emerging technologies is preferred.
Design Skills.
Experience in creating visually compelling contents using design tools.
Ability to produce engaging video and media contents.
Communication Skills.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and accessible language.
Experience in drafting and formatting white papers, reports, and other professional documents.
Excellent English verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.
Content Creation.
Experience in producing content for various platforms, including digital and print media.
Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content dissemination.
Desirable Experience.
Prior internships or work experience in a related field such as marketing, communications, or design.
Experience working on projects that required collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Desirable Skills.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web design principles is a plus.
Familiarity with internal communication channels such as Workplace, company portals, and event management platforms.
