ENGINEER, PV DESIGNER

Your Responsibility Be responsible for design, evaluation and optimization of PV plants and Standalone Energy Storage System design/s under analysis and/or construction. During development phase shall be responsible to prepare different optimized scenarios of PV plant and Energy Storage Systems layout and yield assessment as well as component analysis that would maximize the project value along the complete lifecycle. He/she, in coordination with the Project Manager, shall support the BD team with all technical aspects of the deal that require his/her input.Oversee preparing and leading technical conversations with different stakeholders, both internal and external.Be responsible for analysing from the technical side all new and current upgraded equipment in the market to achieve the best results on the plants acquired and/or built. Together with the PM in charge and supply change management shall provide the technical inputs needed to prepare tender specifications and evaluations in tendering processes for the procurement of equipment, BOS and EPC services specially focused in the PV plant, substation and MV/HV lines of the evacuation line from the plant to the point of connection.During the execution, be responsible to analyse possible deviations from the intended design or technical specifications and to provide feedback and alternative viable solutions.Knowledge of Hydrogen and Agrivoltaic will be consider as a plus. Evaluate full design by third parties.Site audits, identification of civil, mechanical, and electrical design opportunities and constraintsEvaluation and recommendation of major civil, mechanical, and electrical design & components.Support PM and interact with local developers on job sites to answer questions, review requests, and revise designs as needed to accommodate unanticipated field conditions.Support the BD team by reviewing technical BD documents based on preliminary project information and draft engineering design packages.Provide Supply Chain quantity take-offs.Attend and be proactive in the project review meetings.Providing all data required for the permitting, resource assessment, construction, and design throughout the development process. Support risk analysis from the technical side for assigned projects to minimize negative impact on the Company.Support PM in the EPC contracts from the technical side.Project execution managementSupport PM in all technical matters when negotiating EPC contracts for subcontracting contracts.Support PM in all technical matters when negotiating engineering contracts.Actively support PM in all technical deviation analysis during project executionSupport PM in the control of engineering firms and tech advisors daily to achieve project completion and commissioning on time and budget within the quality and safety standards.Be the focal point of all technical-related matters including long-term programs for the improvement of the plants.Provide feedback to all other functions and create when adequate, technical instructional datasheets and brochures to have all organizations informed of the current and future status of the plants in terms of engineering and design.Cost controlProvide all data required to evaluate the costs present and future of the projects as well as constantly strive to find more optimized methods (cost-wise) to design and build the plants.Project PlanningSupport with the technical input to prepare project planning and implement changes.
