An Engineering Manager oversees and leads a team of engineers in the development and delivery of technology projects. They are responsible for setting technical direction, managing project timelines, and ensuring the alignment of engineering efforts with business goals. Key responsibilities include mentoring and coaching team members, coordinating cross-functional collaboration, and driving the implementation of best practices and efficient development processes. Strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on involvement in projects are essential. The role also involves handling resource allocation, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.ResponsibilitiesOversee the development team and be in charge of career growth, onboarding, training, coaching, and mentoring while collaborating directly with a team to improve the calibre of our product.Drive technological progress and give leadership in an innovative and fast-paced workplace.Follow the delivery strategy as directed by the delivery lead and PM.Develop a thriving, cooperative engineering culture consistent with the company's principles.In planning and meetings, represent the team and effectively convey the strategic goals that align with the business vision.Coach and mentor engineers to help them reach their own professional career objectives.QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.3+ yrs. experience in a people management role.At least 5+ years of experience as a Developer.
