ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT

Important international Luxury Brand is looking for a Global IT Enterprise Architect who will be crucial in ensuring their infrastructure and systems align with their business goals.
Reporting to the Global Head of Data & Enterprise Architecture, you will work closely with various IT teams, being responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of the organization’s enterprise-wide technology infrastructure, while ensuring the alignment of technology strategy with business goals, maintaining consistency and interoperability of systems, and managing the overall architecture of the enterprise.

Ensuring the seamless integration of technology and business goals is crucial for this role, and the following tasks and responsibilities highlight the key areas of focus.
• Ensure that IT strategy and architecture align with the organization's business strategy and objectives to support business growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.
• Identify opportunities to leverage IT to enhance business capabilities.
• Create a comprehensive EA blueprint that describes the current architectural landscape, as well as a future state that supports the organization's long-term strategic goals.
Develop roadmaps to transition from the current to the future state.
• Participate in the planning and execution of technology selection, procurement, and implementation projects.
• Design and develop comprehensive enterprise-level integration solutions that support the seamless flow of data and information across disparate systems and platforms.
• Define and document integration standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across the organization.
• Lead architectural reviews and provide recommendations for optimizing system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Work closely with IT project teams to provide architectural guidance and ensure alignment with established integration principles.
• Keep standards in system changes through review, advice and acceptance of any new specification proposed in any system.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into the enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate with vendors and external partners to evaluate and integrate third-party solutions into the existing IT ecosystem.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other staff within the IT Unit.
• Establish and maintain documentation frameworks.
What is important for the role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (5-10 years) working as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role, with a focus on IT integration and enterprise-level architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.
., TOGAF, etc.) and data integration patterns (e.
., ETL, API, event driven microservices, etc.) • Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures (focus on GCP’s ecosystem).
• Proficiency in designing and implementing integration solutions using middleware technologies (e.
., ESB, EAI, iPaaS).
• Experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platforms such as Talend, MuleSoft, TIBCO, or similar.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices related to data integration and API management.
• Hands-on experience in enterprise scale data warehousing, data architecture, and/or data engineering environments.
• Experience implementing operational best practices such as process monitoring and alerting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• A good level of proficiency in English is required.
