EPIDEMIOLOGY RESEARCH ANALYST (SECONDARY DATA) - EUROPE

Join IQVIA as an Epidemiologist in the Real-World Methods and Evidence Generation team and help us deliver high-quality scientific research to our clients in the global pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Your primary responsibilities as an Epidemiologist in our team will be wide ranging, including.
Leading the design, execution, and reporting of real-world database (RWD) studies, which includes protocol writing and generating study reports Supporting the writing of proposals for RWD studies in response to client requests Developing abstracts, manuscripts, or conference presentations for projects Contributing to internal initiatives to adopt innovative methodology and improve project delivery To be successful in this role, you’ll be required to have.
Completed an MSc in epidemiology, public health or related discipline with at least two years of epidemiology research experience post MSc (can include a PhD) Experience in designing and executing (pharmaco-)epidemiological studies, including experience in secondary database studies Excellent time management skills Ability to support multiple projects concurrently Commitment to working collaboratively and effectively with people of other disciplines Strong verbal communication and scientific writing skills, attention to detail and scientific rigour High proficiency in English (spoken and written) – please submit your CV in English Desired Qualities Completed a PhD in epidemiology Experience working in pharmaceutical or other healthcare industries including relevant contract research organisations Experience in using large, real-world healthcare databases, such as the UK Clinical Practice Research Datalink database (CPRD) Experience in External Comparator, cancer epidemiology or genomic epidemiology studies Publications in peer reviewed journals and/or abstracts in scientific conferences At IQVIA you will receive the support to develop your pharmacoepidemiology career in a stimulating and supportive environment.
