FACILITIES TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Werfen is a specialized diagnostics company committed to providing innovative solutions to hostipals and laboratories, powering patient care around the world.The Facilities Technical Specialist for Iberia will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of all facilities and hard services. Under the supervision of the Facilities Technical Manager, they will manage all resources, services, and processes to meet the company's needs.Key Accountabilities• Supervise the maintenance, tasks, and technical processes of the facilities (offices, technical service centers, and warehouses).• Oversee the maintenance plan and all supplier agreements.• Coordinate the operations of external technical staff with the external supervisor.• Supervise the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Fire Protection System, LV (Low Voltage), MV (Medium Voltage), and all other hard services for the facilities, including offices, technical service centers, and warehouses.• Ensure the correct supply of electricity, water, and gas to the installations, so as not to disrupt the company's daily operations.• Provide solutions to technical incidents that arise daily.• Identify technical improvements in the facilities to achieve greater energy efficiency.• Draft technical reports with recommendations for future improvements.• Oversee the technical documentation of all Iberian centers.• Ensure the proper operation of the company's CMMS system.• Manage the inventory of all assets across the centers.• Prepare all necessary documentation for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.• Manage and control documentation using digital management software.Education:• Studies in engineering or related technical fields.Experience:• Experience working with internal and external vendors and service contracts.• At least 3 years of experience in building services is required.Additional Skills/Knowledge:• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple facilities.• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), including the ability to manipulate data and build presentations. Experience with CMMS and CAD is also required.• Language: Spanish (role is in Spain), but English proficiency will be considered.Skills & Capabilities:• The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate the following skills and competencies:• Ability to work independently, manage time, prioritize tasks, and be detail-oriented.• Strong oral and written communication skills.• Presentation skills.• Organizational skills. Travel Requirements:Up to 30% of the time.
