Mercury Systems is looking for a new talent to join its Quality team in Getafe (Spain). We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer.MISSIONThe candidate will lead technical analysis to support customers (internal or external) and solve technical issues. She/He will Support RMAs (Under and out of warranty).Your responsibilities:Support to Design:Ownership of the requirements for the design for maintainability (ex. Part-145) of the products during the gate development processSupport development stage by providing In-Service performance feedbacks and lessons learnedSupport to Production:Support production test technicians on problems encountered when testing productsDrive Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions to support yield improvementsIn-Service Support:First point of Contact/interface for customer RMAsDrive and manage RMAs with appropriate teamsEstablish Support Documents required by the projectsKey technical expert on legacy productsPrepare procedure when rework is needed at customer siteSupport and generate Customer Support quotesRoot Cause Analysis:Carry out inspection and troubleshooting of defective used product or subparts that have been kept for further analysisSynchronize Root Cause Analysis activities with Methods or Engineering (8D and problem solving)Feedback loop to Engineering and Production for lessons learnt processParticipate to the Quality Clinic for customer issues and RMA in serviceKPI responsibility: In-ServiceCustomer claims (Escape, Deviations, etc.)Customer audit scoreRMAs (in and out of warranty)Quote profitability support/contributorSKILLS AND EXPERIENCEGood interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently while being focused on deliveriesAt least 2 years of experience in Electronics manufacturing or repair, preferably in the Aviation, Space and Defense (ASD) industryHave a minimum of 6 months relevant component maintenance experience in any consecutive 2-year periodAre in possession of an appropriate aircraft maintenance license or a personal authorization that is valid for the period that the certification authorization to be issuedHave an adequate understanding of the relevant components to be maintained together with the associated organisation proceduresHave an adequate understanding of the Part 145 regulation to perform the duties of a certifying staff memberFluent communication and written skills in EnglishEDUCATIONBachelor's Degree in Material Science / Mechanical Engineering / Electronic Engineering / Aerospace Engineering Why should you join us?Flexibility to work from homeSocial benefits as tickets restaurant, health insuranceFlexible working hoursParking at the officeFree coffee and fruitProjects with high level of complexityContinuous learning and development opportunitiesWell-being platformInclusive cultureMentorship programHigh responsibility and autonomy to make an impactMercury Systems (USA) is leading Commercial Provider of secure sensor and mission processing subsystems.
