Join the WINNING TEAM at IGT! The Field Service Technician III is a senior-level casino service professional responsible for maintaining and servicing IGT equipment at customer locations throughout the greater Las Vegas area.
This role involves managing activities related to the installation, service, maintenance, and upgrading of gaming systems and equipment across the assigned market.
The technician will respond to dispatches, traveling to various customer locations to deliver supplies, install, remove, or repair electronic gaming equipment and communication devices.
In addition to these responsibilities, the technician will provide a full range of services across the assigned market, contributing to IGT service goals at a market or multi-market level.
Manage and execute assigned casino service activities, including hardware and software conversions, upgrades, and installations.
Conduct pre-installation site visits to identify parts and wiring requirements at customer locations.
Perform all necessary prep tests to ensure hardware, firmware, and system interfaces are accurate and functional before installation.
Transport, install, and maintain IGT equipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
Install, maintain, and upgrade IGT gaming systems and products, ensuring proper functionality.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair IGT machines and gaming systems at the component/circuit level, restoring malfunctioning equipment to working order in the field.
Respond to and resolve customer issues related to games and system interfaces in a timely manner.
Provide advanced technical support to address complex issues in the field.
Test gaming programs and systems using verification devices to ensure accurate operation.
Perform preventative maintenance on IGT gaming systems and equipment to promote continuous operation.
Set up game options and configure various gaming devices, including bill acceptors and pay tables.
Coordinate and order parts as needed to complete service tasks.
Track and report issues, labor, and logistics using SAP and other software tools.
Communicating effectively with dispatchers to ensure accurate reporting of activities and resolutions.
Lead or assist in the training and mentoring of less experienced technicians, including delivering basic training to new retailers.
Represent IGT to customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring professional communication and accurate technical information.
Qualifications High school degree or GED equivalent required.
2-4 years of experience in a customer service-related position.
2-4 years of experience in technical repairs.
A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the capability to accurately distinguish colors are required.
Capable of climbing ladders and carrying up to 50 lbs over distances to installation sites.
Ability to sit and drive for extended periods to reach various job sites.
Strong hand-eye coordination and proficiency in using tools, including safely working with moving parts and electrical currents.
Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or in various weather conditions during installations.
Ability to pass a background security investigation.
