At Omya, we are seeking a driven and forward-thinking Finance Digitalization and Automation Specialist to join our Finance Global Business Services (GBS) unit. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming our finance operations, driving innovation, and optimizing processes through the strategic use of advanced technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnological Expertise & Innovation: Embrace the latest emerging technologies to optimize finance operations, including automation, data processing, and visualization tools. Your work will directly contribute to staying ahead with the latest market trends and uplifting our global standards.Collaboration & Digital Transformation Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with IT, finance teams, and external partners to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your strategic vision will play a key role in shaping our digital transformation journey.Project Management & Output: Own and drive the implementation of smart automation solutions, conduct Proofs of Concept (PoC), and scale successful initiatives into long-term, impactful solutions. Your results-oriented mindset will ensure the delivery of measurable outcomes that make a tangible difference to the business.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.A Master’s degree or relevant certifications in areas such as RPA, data analytics, or project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum) are highly valued.5+ years of experience in Global Business Services (GBS) environment with focus on finance automation or digital transformation projects, exposure to technologies like AI, ML, or cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure).Excellent command of both oral and written English. Knowledge & SkillsTechnical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP (FI, CO, MM modules), process experience (O2C, P2P, R2R), and automation tools. Strong skills in process modeling, data-driven decision-making, and resolving technical issues.Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to assess complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop innovative, data-backed solutions to optimize performance.Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences. Your leadership will inspire others and foster a collaborative, innovative environment.Adaptability & Innovation: Thrive in managing multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a forward-thinking approach to emerging technologies and process innovation.
