FINANCE OPERATIONS ANALYST - BILL TO CASH

This is a unique opportunity for a junior Finance Assistant/ Billings Analyst to join the European team of a successful international telecoms organisation.Based in my client's Madrid office and reporting to the CFO, you will be primarily responsible for revenue assurance of the clients EU operations and will support other finance, accounting and tax responsibilities.Duties:Responsible for bill-to-cash cycle activities of European operating entitiesPrepare customer invoices, review and extract customer master data, confirm period of billing and service charges. Consider issuing proforma and obtaining validation prior to issuing final invoice, to help guarantee timely collectionAccount for revenue in the appropriate D365 ledger and prepare monthly account reconciliations. Work with various department to help maintain the service database accurate and completeResearch, gather and provide supporting documentation and explanations to customersSupport the country finance team in its collection activities, assist with planning and forecasting of revenueRespond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing and interpreting data and reporting to matrixAd hoc general finance and accounting tasksRequirements:A minimum of 3 years of experience in general financeMust have solid Excel skills as well as experience with other MS Office suite products such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is a plusPractical knowledge of financial accounting and financial reporting standards Fluent in Spanish and English, both spoken and writtenStrong financial, analytical and communication skillsExperience operating in a multinational environment is a plusInterested candidates please send your CV in English to sarah.kelly@afrecruitment.ie
