Start your future with BorgWarner now! Job Purpose BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven ” individual to join as a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Intern.
In this role, and under the direct supervision of the Staff Engineer, FEA in the CAE team, the FEA Intern will support development of analysis processes and standards, perform analysis tasks, and summarize results.
This will involve a variety of applications, such as use of a general Finite Elements code, analysis, research, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities Investigate standards and process gaps for structural analysis of electric drive designs Develop new processes and methods for structural analysis Document processes and work instructions in a standard format Use FEA and other software tools to analyze components Investigate advanced features of existing software tools to improve analysis processes What We’re Looking For Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or be a graduate from an accredited college GPA of 3.
