FP&A CONTROLLER

The FP&A Professional will play a critical role in the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and analysis efforts. This position requires a deep understanding of financial principles and strong analytical skills to provide insights that drive strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.Reporting to the FP&A Director the FP&A specialist will be responsible for:Financial Planning and Forecasting:Lead the development and maintenance of financial models to forecast future financial performance.Manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational goals.Develop rolling forecasts to provide updated financial projections.Financial Analysis:Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Analyze financial results, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modeling.Reporting and Dashboards:Prepare and present regular financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards.Business Partnering:Collaborate with department heads and senior management to understand their financial needs and provide relevant insights.Act as a trusted advisor, helping business units to make informed financial decisions.Participate in cross-functional projects, offering financial expertise and strategic support.Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.Leverage financial software and tools to streamline reporting and analysis processes.Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in financial planning and analysis.Strategic Support:Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the financial impact of various business decisions.Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies.Education and Experience needed:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.Advanced knowledge of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Excellent communication and presentation skills.
