FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT – FINANCE SOLUTIONS (ZUORA REVENUE)

Location: Madrid, Spain / HybridEmployment Type: Full-time/ContractAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Functional Consultant – Finance Solutions with expertise in Zuora Revenue to join our team and play a key role in delivering harmonized, integrated, and reliable finance solutions. Your work will directly support business processes, improve performance, and drive seamless integration with accounting modules.If you have a strong background in finance, IT consultancy, and subscription-based business models, this is an excellent opportunity to bring your expertise to a multinational, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Construction:Validate technical requirements with Business Solution Architects/Developers and support the development team during implementation.Customize and test solutions to meet business needs.Conduct end-to-end functional, regression, and performance testing.Prepare user documentation and training materials to facilitate adoption.Functional Design:Gather and review detailed business specifications with internal customers.Validate functional requirements with stakeholders to ensure alignment with expectations.Solution Maintenance and Support:Provide functional support for applications, addressing customer and production requests.Propose enhancements to improve system performance and avoid failures.Deliverables and Accountabilities:Collaborate with development teams to ensure a seamless transition between functional and technical aspects.Configure and customize the HCF FIN solution based on customer requirements.Document business requirements and analyze gaps between needs and solutions.Participate in application design and contribute functional requirements.Support systems testing, implementation, and integration with ERP/accounting modules.Deliver training and documentation to end users.Required Skills and ExperienceEducation and Background:Degree in Finance, Computing, or Engineering.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a multinational company, preferably in IT consultancy, managing multi-site activities and implementing IT projects.Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).Proficiency in using and configuring Zuora Revenue (formerly RevPro).Experience with financial systems integration and data migration.Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP and integrations with Salesforce.Analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.Knowledge of subscription-based business models and SaaS operations.Languages:Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.Soft Skills:Strong self-management and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and change management skills in large finance projects.Experience working in multicultural, virtual, and remote teams.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Why Join Us?Opportunity to work on impactful global projects.Collaborative and multicultural work environment.Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and subscription-based business models.Professional growth in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
