GERBER AND CLO 3D LECTURER

As a Gerber and CLO 3D, your role encompasses crafting and delivering subjects of the Bachelor’s Degree in Design, in one of the specialties: Interior Design, Fashion Design or Graphic Design, on-site. Your mission is to lead students in grasping the foundational concepts of the design industry and to foster the development of their practical skills and critical thinking within this ever-evolving sphere. Additionally, you may oversee research initiatives and provide tailored mentorship to aid students in reaching their academic and professional objectives in the design field. The curriculum for this program imparts essential skills and concepts, including:

Design foundations
Theory of color
Culture and society (anthropology and sociology focused on design)
History of arts and design
Typography
Artistic drawing
Technical drawing
Expression and representation techniques applied to Design
Project methodology applied to the specialty (interior or graphic design)
Software: Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Software: AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan class sessions.
Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner.
Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach.
Administer and correct assessments.
Monitor each student and encourage success.
Be available to students in order to promote their development of the skill targeted by the course.
All other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

You must be legally entitled to work in Spain.
Have a C1 Advanced English level.
Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned.
Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five 5 years.
Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two 2 years.
