As a Head of Data Engineer you will have the following responsibililties
Lead the Data Analytics platform efforts collaborating with Data Scientists and Engineers to deliver a reliable and scalable analytics solutions
Frame and evolve the data strategy architecture governance and infrastructure
Model the enterprise external data catering to the evolving needs of growth stage enterprise
Design build frameworks including but not limited to ingestion processing observability
Collaborate with Business teams and Customers in designing and developing the scalable features on the Data Analytics platform
Fintech with an interesting expansion project Expert Data Engineer to become Head of Data
A successful Head of Data Engineer should have Demonstrated experience as a Lead Data Engineer preferably in one or more of Lending Banking Insurance Retail domains (10 - 15 years experience)
Deep understanding of technology fundamentals and experience with languages like Python Java and experience with SQL NO SQL File System data stores
Demonstrated experience in design and development of big data solutions involving distributed storage map reduce and familiarity with DataOps MLOps
Commendable skills in building data products by integrating large sets of data from multiple internal and external sources would be highly critical
A nuanced understanding of code quality maintainability and practices like Test Driven Development
Ability to deliver an application end to end having an opinion on how your code should be built packaged and deployed using CI/CD
Understanding of Cloud platforms DevOps GitOps Containerisation
