HEAD OF PRODUCT ENGINEERING - B2C

We are looking for a Head of Product Engineering to lead our B2C Player Experience Team. Player Experience are responsible for building the player facing web and mobile applications that power our global Sports Betting platform.As Head of Product Engineering, you will lead three engineering teams based in our Barcelona office, as well as a small team of product experts. You will be heavily involved in defining the product and technology strategy for your teams and will be accountable for the delivery of the services being built. You will also be accountable for the development and growth of the engineering teams.What you’ll doYou’ll work closely with your engineering managers to drive a culture of ownership and engineering excellence within the teams.You’ll work closely product and business stakeholders to build innovative Sports features for our players.You’ll facilitate collaboration with other teams and solve problems across our Sports platform.You’ll act as a key decision maker across development and product teams, as well as a key stakeholder for quarterly roadmap commitments.You’ll empower your teams to be both delivery and production focused.Who you areYou have previous experience leading software development teams.You are passionate about transformational leadership and invested in developing both great engineers and great teams.You are an excellent communicator and presenter.You have a software engineering background but have a particular affinity towards building web-based applications in languages and frameworks such as Typescript and React.js.You possess an understanding of cloud-based architectures using Cloudflare.You are pragmatic about technology decisions, use the best tools for the job and don’t get caught up on the hype-train.Who are Derivco Sports?Derivco Sports is a dynamic and inclusive company that houses some of the top developers and technical minds within the industry.
