HEAD OF STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS

Content of the role The primary focus of this role is to attract and onboard partners that enhance Thunes\u core technology offering, extend our go-to-market (GTM) reach, and scale our solutions to customers globally.
A key aspect will be investing in critical payment network partnerships to drive growth.
The individual in this role will ensure that different teams work cohesively, creating synergies and integration that enable Thunes to effectively compete and win in the market.
As the Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will be responsible for meeting revenue targets and advancing our strategic objectives with key partners.
Additionally, you will take a forward-thinking approach, developing multi-year growth strategies for the channel sales business.
This role also involves building and leading a global team of professionals to drive business success.
Responsibilities Develop and define the go-to-market strategy for channel sales.
Create and implement a comprehensive channel sales strategy.
Define the ideal partner profile to support business growth.
Identify and prioritize key partnership targets (2 to 5 per region).
Secure, negotiate, and sign strategic partnerships.
Lead and manage the onboarding process for new channel partners.
Oversee channel sales partnerships and collaborate closely with regional sales teams to drive revenue.
Partner with the Head of Regions to leverage local expertise when necessary for securing partnerships.
Achieve revenue goals and partnership KPIs.
Develop a consistent approach to targeting channel sales opportunities across regions.
Establish and share best practices for channel sales growth.
Support the Business Development team by removing obstacles and distractions to ensure focus on core objectives.
What We Are Looking For Bachelor\us degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
MBA is a plus.
Proven experience (8+ years) in business development, strategic partnerships, or a similar role.
Deep exposure in the payments industry is ideal Strong network of industry contacts and proven track record of managing high-value partnerships.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to think strategically and translate ideas into actionable plans.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
