The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona.
Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
The Institute is associated with one of the major university hospitals in the Barcelona area, the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, and is part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus.
IGTP is a CERCA centre and is also accredited as a centre of excellence by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) and is in charge of coordinating the management and scientific strategy of the campus, working in close collaboration with the other centres.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to lead the Clinical Trials Unit (UPIC).
This individual will report directly to the ASIC director and will be responsible to coordinate the unit's activity, which comprises three well-defined work tasks.
Support in the day-to day for the execution of clinical studies Administrative and economical support for the start-up of studies within the organization Provide logistical-technical-regulatory support to clinical researchers.
Implementation and certification of quality control and quality management systems.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE.
Health Science Degree (MSc or PhD will be valued) Clinical Trials experience (academic and industry) Good command of the English language People management, quality systems knowledge, clinical trials execution Communication, problems solving, adaptability Clinical project manager or quality manager or similar position experience Experience in implementing quality standards like ISO.
Knowledge in Fundanet® or similar software.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES.
Coordination of the Unit for technical and economic activities of the unit.
Organization of the personal for planning and executing clinical studies Supervision and maintenance of equipment.
Follow-up of the activities and indicators of the Unit.
Detects errors or insufficiencies in the protocols/processes of the Unit and proposes and implements solutions or improvements.
Implementation, validation, certification and maintenance of quality management and quality control systems.
Training in the area of expertise and supervision of user or equipment companies.

Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.
