Come and check it out!https://www.ghenova.com/What will your mission be?Being part of the Mechanical Discipline in Offshore Substations Engineering projects, you will:Review and comments on the contractual documentation received from the client.Making comments and technical clarifications with the client (TQs), normally written in English.Interpretation of the design basis and functional diagrams/ P&ID for the HVAC and FiFi systems (Inert Gas and Foam System) .Review and comments on the information provided by turnkey HVAC suppliers. Including, for example: Functional ventilation diagrams, HVAC calculations, Detail and manufacturing drawings, Bills of Materials (MTOs), Weight control, etc.Collaborate with the 3D model coordinator to ensure the correct definition of the location and support of ventilation equipment, ducts and details related to HVAC.Coordinate the approval of the design with the Classification Society and local organizations.Preparation of monitoring reports on the status of HVAC Engineering.Attendance at internal and client meetings (normally in English) for engineering control and monitoring.Provide technical support to production during manufacturing, installation and testing.Valuable experience in pressure loss calculations and noise analysis, using CFDs.Valuable knowledge in 3D modelling programs for the naval sector (FORAN) and Offshore (AVEVA).What do you need to join the team?BSc or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Marine EngineeringMinimum 4-5 (Junior) / 7-10 years (Senior) professional experience in Mechanical Engineering department, designing, defining and selecting mechanical equipment mainly in HVAC, and preferably in EPC projects related to offshore wind, offshore O&G, shipbuilding or other relevant industry.Basic HVAC engineering experienceDetailed HVAC engineering and manufacturing experienceManagement of turnkey HVAC subcontracts.Management of turnkey FiFi subcontracts.Knowledge of the National Fire Protection Association standards (NFPA 10, 11 and 18).Additional experience in FiFi (Fire Fighting Systems) will be an added value.You will also have to be able to...Mantain relationship with clients (in English), contractors and other engineering departments.We are waiting for you!#JoinGhenova
