.
drainage systems, retention basins, and other green infrastructure) to manage runoff including preliminary sizing of the protection measures in order to make sure there is enough space for implementing them in the layout such as size of the drainage Advise on Non-Structural flood protection Measures such as simple delineation of Floodplain Zoning according to water height and velocity, proposing restriction of PV development in areas prone to damage Propose erosion control measures such as vegetation covers, Mulching and Matting, and Contour Ploughing for agrivoltaics projects Propose sediment control plans including silt fences, sediment basins, etc.
Work with the PV engineers to implement proposed solutions in PV park designs at the development stage Advise on the most appropriate location for heavy equipment according the preliminary flood risk assessment, example.
