Come be a part of our success story!Key TasksCommission and Manage 3rd party flood risk and mitigation studiesAdvise on Structural flood protection measures (e.g. drainage systems, retention basins, and other green infrastructure) to manage runoff including preliminary sizing of the protection measures in order to make sure there is enough space for implementing them in the layout such as size of the drainageAdvise on Non-Structural flood protection Measures such as simple delineation of Floodplain Zoning according to water height and velocity, proposing restriction of PV development in areas prone to damagePropose erosion control measures such as vegetation covers, Mulching and Matting, and Contour Ploughing for agrivoltaics projectsPropose sediment control plans including silt fences, sediment basins, etc.Work with the PV engineers to implement proposed solutions in PV park designs at the development stageAdvise on the most appropriate location for heavy equipment according the preliminary flood risk assessment, example: transformer stations and substationAdvice on minimum heights for electrical equipment according the preliminary flood risk assessment, example: PV modules, string inverters, etc.QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Hydrology/water resource engineering or similar degreeMore than 3 years of experience in hydrologyExperience in development engineering performing the duties explained in the job descriptionExperience in detail engineering implementing the flood protection measures, including site visits is highly valuableExperience in different countries, being able to adapt to different international and local standardsAbility to work in dynamic project teamsAbility to work autonomouslyStrong Analytical skillsFluent in English and SpanishAdditional informationA truly international working environment with colleagues from all over the worldAn open-minded, friendly, dynamic, and highly motivated teamInteresting and challenging tasks, and thus a scope of professional growth and developmentWe encourage both team work and personal responsibilityVery good opportunities for professional and personal developmentCompetitive remuneration and motivating benefits
