The company currently has more than 950 professionals in the different areas in which it operates.Neotalent, the responsive people.Find out more about us at www.neotalent.pt/es and https://neotalent.pt/es/oportunidades-de-carrera/.Role Overview:One of our clients dedicated to providing Project Management and EPCM support in all phases of the project life-cycle based on the following business groups: Oil&Gas, Energy Solutions, Urban Solutions and Mission Solutions, is currently recruiting an Instrumentation&Control System Engineer to join their regional team in Tarragona.What you will do:This position supports the E&I department on assigned projects through the following Key Responsibilities:-Perform and check calculations for simple equipment, and solve problems of basic to moderate engineering complexity-Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution-Develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantity tracking reports-Identify deviations in job scope, estimate magnitude of changes, and initiate trends or change orders-Support estimate activities-Interface with project disciplines and client representatives-Develop and build client relations promoting Client Service Excellence-Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting-Assist in the review of vendor lists, preparation of quotation requests, bid tabulations, purchase orders, and considerations for substitutions for technical acceptability-Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines-Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines-Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff-Prepare/review scopes of work for third party contracts-Perform control systems sizing calculations for control valves, relief valves, flow elements, thermowells and other instrumentation-Create instrument index, datasheets and generate reports in Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation database-Develop control systems narrative specifications-Acquire basic knowledge to develop control systems logic diagrams and/or cause and effect diagrams-Develop control systems estimates and report on control systems progress-Develop specifications and design of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) hardware and software applications and implementation in software configurationWhat you are like:If you identify with the following requirements, ¡we want to meet you!: - Bachelor or equivalent in engineering field.- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in similar positions- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish and English.- Intermediate knowledge of: -Specifying instrumentation (data sheets, etc.) -Control systems procurement activities -Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) representation; ability to recognize/report problems associated with control systems representation on P&ID (with CAD tools) -SAT/FAT -SIL -PLC -DCS -SIS -SCADA -ATEX environment -Orifice plates-Basic knowledge to develop control strategies and represent on P&ID -Advanced level of INTOOLS and/or PRODOK-Available immediately (Tarragona)-Valid European Work Permit-Remarkable: You will have to go out in the field a lot to collect data and meet with customers, so I think it is important to have a car.Why join usA permanent contract with Neotalent Conclusion and you will join the team of one of our main clients.The opportunity to work with big companies and into international projects.You will be able to enjoy a flexible compensation plan (Restaurant Card, Transport Card, Childcare Vouchers, Private Medical Insurance), professional projection and training.Flexible working hours and two days of teleworking. … and much more!
