The company currently has more than 950 professionals in the different areas in which it operates.Neotalent, the responsive people.Find out more about us at www.neotalent.pt/es y https://neotalent.pt/es/oportunidades-de-carrera/.Role Overview:One of our clients dedicated to providing Project Management and EPCM support in all phases of the project life-cycle based on the following three business groups: Energy Solutions, Urban Solutions and Mission Solutions, is currently recruiting a Mid-Senior Control System Engineer to join their regional team (Spain) in Cartagena.What you will do:This position supports the E&I department on assigned projects through the following Key Responsibilities:-Perform and check calculations for simple equipment, and solve problems of basic to moderate engineering complexity-Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution-Develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantity tracking reports-Identify deviations in job scope, estimate magnitude of changes, and initiate trends or change orders-Support estimate activities-Interface with project disciplines and client representatives-Develop and build client relations promoting Client Service Excellence-Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting-Assist in the review of vendor lists, preparation of quotation requests, bid tabulations, purchase orders, and considerations for substitutions for technical acceptability-Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines-Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines-Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff-Prepare/review scopes of work for third party contracts-Perform control systems sizing calculations for control valves, relief valves, flow elements, thermowells and other instrumentation-Create instrument index, datasheets and generate reports in Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation database-Develop control systems narrative specifications-Acquire basic knowledge to develop control systems logic diagrams and/or cause and effect diagrams-Develop control systems estimates and report on control systems progress-Develop specifications and design of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) hardware and software applications and implementation in software configurationWhat you are like:If you identify with the following requirements, ¡we want to meet you!:-Bachelor or equivalent in engineering field.-Relevant working experience in similar job positions-Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.-Intermediate knowledge of:-Specifying instrumentation-Control systems procurement activities-Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) representation; ability to recognize/report problems associated with control systems representation on P&ID-Basic knowledge to develop control strategies and represent on P&ID-Advance level of INTOOLS and/or PRODOK-Available immediately (Cartagena)-Valid European Work PermitWhy join usA permanent contract with Neotalent Conclusion and you will join the team of one of our main clients.You will be able to enjoy a flexible compensation plan (Restaurant Card, Transport Card, Childcare Vouchers, Private Medical Insurance), professional projection and training.Flexible working hours and two days of teleworking.… and much more!
