INFRA & OS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

As part of the European Vodafone Network Operation (VNO) Organization and included into Cloud&OSS department, Infrastructure & OS team is responsible for the maintenance of I&OS systems/Recovery/CyberVault Infrastructure and Operating System in Cloud Ops environment for Germany With these activities you will have a significant impact on our business.
Managing, supporting, and administrating I&OS systems/Recovery/CyberVault platforms for Cloud environment in Germany Performing troubleshooting and error handling for O.
., Database and HW infrastructure layers on I&OS systems and the related infrastructure.
Administrating the I&OS systems processes and policy according with the Vodafone Cyber Security policies.
Change and problem management for I&OS systems/Recovery/Cyber Vault platforms (O.
., DB and HW infrastructure).
Evaluating new versions, firmware, and patches.
Implementing major upgrades and security patches regularly for I&OS systems/Recovery/Cyber Vault platforms Discussing platform evolution with vendors and design teams.
Providing assistance in new projects during all stages, including assessment, planning, designing, initiation, implementation.
Implementing security policies and fixing vulnerabilities on I&OS systems/Recovery/Cyber Vault platforms according to the best practices and company procedures.
Periodic monitoring of platforms, performance tuning, capacity planning and trend analysis.

Working experience on managing various OS’s, Redhat Linux, Windows, UNIX-like Good knowledge of I&OS systems concepts and processes, storage architectures, ability to manage and optimize space utilization Understanding of implementing cybersecurity measures to protect data Experience with VMware virtualization technologies & with automation tools and scripting (using and creating scripts to automate backup and restore processes) Must have technical / professional qualifications.
University degree.
faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology 3+ years' experience working in a large, enterprise environment working with problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis processes Effective communication skills in English (spoken and written), German nice to have.
