Our client is Valmet (www.valmet.com), a leading global developer and supplier of process technologies, automation, and services for different industries. Given the growth plan that they have for the upcoming years, we’re looking for a:Inside Sales EngineerWorking in the Flow Control business line, the person will be responsible for improving customer performance by providing customized solutions, focusing on results, and taking a proactive approach to support their success and enhance their operations. The position can be based either in Madrid or Barcelona, offering flexibility for the right candidate.The main tasks will be:Generate opportunities and quotations by responding promptly to customer inquiries with accurate and competitive proposals.Work with the Indian Hub or Project Quotation Team to optimize the quotation process.Review and adjust quotations to meet technical requirements.Provide detailed product and service information to customers and the sales team.Support sales and distribution channels to drive business growth.Assist in resolving customer claims efficiently.Collaborate with engineers and product management to customize solutions for customers.Process and validate orders with factories and sub-suppliers.Advise existing customers on product selection and share feedback with internal teams.Work with the Account Manager to identify and engage new customers.Participate in internal projects and training programs.Ensure compliance with Valmet's quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.We are looking for a candidate with an M.Sc. or B.Sc. in an engineering field and experience in a similar position. Experience in flow control and a background related to valves will be valued. Because we work in a global matrix organization, the ideal candidate should have demonstrated success in a similar environment and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English.
