INTERNATIONAL SALES DIRECTOR (NEUROREHABILITATION TECHNOLOGY)

Our goal is to improve the quality of life for patients by offering advanced solutions for rehabilitation. As we prepare to expand our reach across Europe and the USA, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and oversee all commercial activities, including managing our sales teams and distributors.Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to drive our commercial strategy, manage relationships with distributors, and build and lead a sales team to expand our footprint across Europe and eventually the USA. This individual will play a key role in achieving our ambitious growth targets by effectively managing the sales process, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that our products meet the needs of the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital health or medical device markets, the regulatory landscapes in Europe and the ideally USA, and experience in international sales.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and Implement Sales Strategy:Formulate and execute sales strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives in Europe and the USA.Sales Leadership:Build, lead and manage a growing team of sales professionals across different territories (in-house and distributors). This includes recruiting, training, and performance management of the sales team.Distributor Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and partners across target markets. Ensure that they are fully equipped and trained to represent our products.Market Expansion:Identify new markets, key accounts, and strategic partners. Lead efforts to penetrate new markets, focusing initially on Europe and expanding to the USA.Sales Performance & Forecasting:Track, analyze, and report on sales performance. Set clear goals and KPIs to monitor progress. Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to the executive team.Commercial Negotiations:Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, and agreements with clients, distributors, and key accounts.Regulatory Compliance:Ensure that all sales activities and partnerships comply with relevant regulations in the healthcare and medical device sectors, especially in Europe and the USA.Customer Relationships:Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and clinicians. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and address any customer concerns or issues.Product Feedback:Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to relay market feedback and trends to improve and adapt our product offerings to customer needs.QUALIFICATIONS:Experience:Minimum 7 years of sales experience in the digital health, medical device sectors with a preference for experience in the neurorehabilitation sector, with a proven track record of building and managing a sales team and distributor networks. International sales experience is required in Europe and a plus in the USA.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field are valued. An MBA or a master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.Skills:Strong leadership and people management skills.Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.In-depth understanding of healthcare or medical device regulations and market dynamics, especially in Europe and the USA.Ability to travel internationally as needed.Languages:Fluency in English is required.
