IT STRATEGY & PMO

We are currently looking for a IT Strategy & PMO in the services sector for an important multinational company.Mision: Strategy & PMO Manager will provide critical support to the CIO in developing and executing IT strategies aligned with both local and global business objectives.This role will also oversee the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective project delivery while maintaining a strong focus on governance, compliance, and strategic alignment. A key part of the role is providing hands-on management in executing complex IT projects.Responsabilities:Provide operational and strategic support to CIO in developing and executing IT strategies that align local business goals and global IT strategy.Assist in translating business objectives into actionable IT plans, ensuring that the local IT strategy is consistent with global standards.Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations to support the CIO in decision-making and tracking the progress of strategic IT initiatives.IT Strategy & PlanningSupport CIO in the development and continuous refinement of IT strategies, including digital transformation, innovation, and modernization initiatives.Ensure that IT initiatives are prioritized according to both local business needs and global objectives, assisting in the allocation of resources to maximize impact.Regularly review and update the IT strategy to align with evolving business requirements and technological advancements.GovernanceImplement and oversee IT governance frameworks that ensure compliance with local regulations as well as global IT standards (e.g., COBIT, IT IL, ISO).Ensure risk management processes are in place and integrated into all IT initiatives to protect business operations and data security.Develop and monitor K PIs and SLAS to measure the performance of IT operations and projects, ensuring continuous improvement.Project Management Office (PMO) LeadershipLead the IT PMO, ensuring effective delivery of IT projects that align with both strategic business objectives and global standards.Standardize project management methodologies and tools across the organization, adopting best practices from global IT processes.Oversee the project portfolio, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.Direct Project Management & ExecutionManage critical IT projects directly, particularly those with high strategic importance or complexity.Engage in hands-on project management to ensure successful project execution, tracking milestones, and managing risks.Ensure all projects are aligned with both local and global business objectives, providing regular updates to the CIO and relevant stakeholders.Project Manager Mentorship & DevelopmentProvide leadership and guidance to project managers, ensuring they are aligned with both local IT priorities and global strategic goals.Mentor project managers in best practices and help them navigate challenges in project execution, ensuring a culture of accountability and high performance.Monitor the performance of the PMO team, offering constructive feedback and fostering continuous learning and professional development.Act as a bridge between the local and global IT teams, ensuring that local initiatives comply with global standards and contribute to broader company objectives.Incorporate global best practices into local IT processes and ensure that global IT initiatives are adapted and implemented effectively.Continuous Improvement & InnovationSupport the CIO in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation within IT operations.Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies and optimize IT services to improve efficiency, enhance performance, and align with global standards.Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, using this knowledge to drive innovation in IT processes and solutions.Experience minimiun of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, including substantial experience executing complex IT programsProven experience working closely with business units and IT Business Partners to align IT strategies with business needs.Strong background in IT strategy execution, governance, and hands-on project management within a multinational environment.Experience working in a matrixed organization, balancing local and global IT priorities.Proficiency in project management methodologies with a hands-on approach to managing complex projects.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and global IT teams.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on supporting strategic initiatives and achieving both local and global business objectives.
