IT SUPPORT ENGINEER

At WeDoData, we are working with a prestigious client in the Travel sector undergoing rapid growth.We are currently looking for an IT Support Engineer in Palma De Mallorca.As the IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network connectivity, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.What you will be doing:Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.Hardware Support: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.Software Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications, including operating systems, productivity suites, and specialized software.Network Support: Assist with network connectivity issues, including troubleshooting network cables, configuring network settings, and resolving connectivity problems.User Support: Provide technical assistance to end-users, including answering questions, resolving problems, and training on IT systems.Help Desk Support: Manage and resolve incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems.Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Asset Management & Inventory: Track and manage IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.Security: Adhere to security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.Sporadic travel to Canary Islands What you bring:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.6-10 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.Strong technical skills, including knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), network protocols (TCP/IP), and common software applications.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with IT support ticketing systems and remote support tools.Bonus points:Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+, Microsoft Certified Technician Associate (MTA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Knowledge of command line tools & scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).Whats in it for you?Hybrid work Modality: 3-4 days in office per week.Salary of 35-40K GrossDiscounts on company travel packages of up to 45%Permanent, full-time employee contractIf you are interested in this position, please apply directly or alternatively send an email along with your CV to marc@wedodata.es
