IT Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) About the Job As a Sustainability Manager at Allianz Technology, you will play a crucial role by supporting Allianz Technology strategy and commitment for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).
In doing so, you will work closely across functional teams and stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable initiatives that align with the Allianz Technology sustainability goals and roadmap.
What you do • Drive initiatives to create transparency on the key Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission drivers of Allianz Technology Group (Data Centers, Buildings, Travel) ultimately allowing dedicated steering towards our GHG emission targets • Support the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting, including process documentation, control set-up and execution • Continuously improve guidelines and best practices to reduce environmental impact across our service portfolio E2E (from service creation till decommissioning) in close collaboration with service owner and service manager • Contribute to sustainability strategy, roadmap and metrics definition in line with global Allianz sustainability strategy and Allianz Technology IT and sustainability strategy • Act as ambassador for sustainability within Allianz Technology by fostering and creating awareness for sustainable practices • Act as single point of contact (SPOC) for Jira project management within the team What you bring • 1-3 years of experience in Sustainability, ideally in context of IT • Expertise in sustainability and environmental management, with a strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.

CSRD, EED, ISO, ISO) • Analytical skills to assess, analyze data and derive practical solutions to minimize the environmental footprint of Allianz Technology own operations and as shared service provider • Capability to develop, plan and execute sustainability projects and initiatives, in line with sustainability strategy and objectives • Excellent communication and presentation skills to achieve buy-in for sustainability initiatives combined with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels • Genuine passion for sustainability and social responsibility • Profound understanding of Allianz Technology organizational set-up as IT shared service provider • Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices and circular economy principles is a plus What we offer • We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl.
