Our client is a globally recognized leader in delivering trusted financial news data and analysis to professionals and organizations worldwide empowering them to make informed decisions. They are seeking a Junior Data Engineer that will design develop and maintain database architecture and code initiatives supporting internal and third-party software solutions delivering excellent products in scope and on time and meeting current and long-term business needs for the business area. Participate in an agile team of motivated driven high-energy engineers building trust and confidence with team members and business stakeholders.
Tareas
- Collaborate with product teams to deliver effective high-performance solutions in a timely manner
- Design scalable data architectures and develop automated data pipelines to streamline processes
- Perform queries and SQL statements to explore source data and data problems.
- Monitor and tune database performance
- Support system enhancements new product launches and implementation efforts
Requisitos
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science related technical field or equivalent experience
- Between 1 and 2 years of database developer/engineering experience (SQL Server PostgreSQL Snowflake preferred)
- Experience in creating data models for the integration of multiple systems and maintaining stored procedures
- Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Service (AWS) or other cloud computing platforms
- Knowledge of C# Python or other programming languages
