Context And Mission Applications are invited for one junior research engineer specialized in Firmware at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS).
We are offering a position in the context of multiple industry-funded projects to perform and lead tasks in bringup and characterization of HPC integrated circuit designs (ASICs.) Key Duties Participate in the design of the BSC bringup platform for current and future HPC ASICs Firmware programming of the bringup platform System Administration of the electronic laboratory servers Requirements Education "Grado Superior" or equivalent in Computer Science, System Administration or similar Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience Industrial experience of at least 2 years in microcontroller programming with C At least 1 year industry experience in Firmware development Industrial experience at least 2 years with CI/CD, DevOps 1-year experience in GNU/Linux system administration Competences Ability to take initiative, prioritize and work under set deadlines.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
