Lugar Barcelona, Campus Clinic-CEK WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ISGlobal is looking for an experienced predoctoral researcher or junior postdoc to establish functional immunological assays after infection or vaccination.
Activities carried out in the project aim to investigate functional immune mechanisms of vaccine-induced protection against infectious diseases, and identify correlates of vaccine-induced protection.
The overall goals are to identify biomarkers of disease and immunity and understand the mechanisms and mediators of protective immunity induced by infection and vaccines using multidimensional clinical, epidemiological, immunological and molecular data.
This project has received funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No , ENDING COVID 19 VARIANTS OF CONCERN THROUGH COHORT STUDIES (END-VOC)   KEY RESPONSABILITIES The purpose of the position is to establish assays to perform functional immune profiling studies in the context of infectious diseases and vaccines.
The position includes laboratory analysis of samples using multiplex and cytometry technologies.
The position will require experience in antibody assays including Luminex, and cellular (innate and adaptive) cultures and assays, as well as some basic statistics and data management.
The position is based at ISGlobal in Barcelona.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Masters in biomedical sciences ideally advanced immunology Experience in Luminex antibody assays Experience in cellular assays, ELIspot/Fluorospot and flow cytometry Basic experience/knowledge in processing, managing, visualization, presentation and analysis of complex multidimensional data  Experience with database management and programming software statistical analysis.

SELECTION PROCESS The selection process is designed in two phases.
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation.

2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.

A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
