Are you interested in joining our Chubb Talent & Leadership Development Team?In order to support all our employees in their further deployment as leaders, we are creating a new team that will specifically focused on leadership development. Therefore, we are seeking to recruit several Leadership Development Leaders from within Chubb. The incumbents will directly advance our purpose of Building Great Leaders by supporting efforts to deeply embed a leadership development culture within each of our businesses. These Leadership Development Leads will support the creation, deployment, and facilitation of our leadership development initiatives within their assigned country or region. This role will also significantly influence the attraction, development, engagement, and retention of our Leaders at the country / regional level. We consider this a developmental role. Incumbents will have the opportunity to grow as both a leader themselves and as an expert in leadership development. Therefore, we have separated Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities into two categories – Those required to be considered for the role and those that the candidate must be willing to develop over time (with our support). Job Responsibilities Leadership Development: Focus on continually transforming a culture of leadership and within the business.Support business leaders in the implementation and continuous improvement of the Leadership Development System with the business.Partner with country / region leaders as a trusted advisor concerning leadership and leadership development matters.Implement, facilitate, advise on, and assess a range of leadership development initiatives in line with our global approach to leadership development. Promote and deepen understanding of our Building Great Leaders purpose at all layers of the organization. Strategy and thought partnership: Partner with country HR Team on the identification, planning and deployment of proactive leadership strategies aligned with other talent programs, business objectives, and Building Great Leaders enduring purpose. Partnership and Relationship Management: Actively builds trusting relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a global strategy consistency, scalability and success.Works closely with key stakeholders to develop a keen understanding of business needs, in order to create and implement seamlessly integrated leadership development solutions.Ensures on-going two-way communication and feedback concerning assigned initiatives.Qualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge:Education: BS/BA in Leadership, Business, Learning and Development, Psychology or related field is preferred, but not required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Required: Language: Fluency in both English and local language(s) of assigned region / country is required.Willingness, potential, and passion for leadership development.Exceptional presentation, written, verbal and listening communication skills Ability to think strategically and create long-term solutions that are aligned with objectives.A passion for learning and staying at the forefront of the leadership and adult learning field. Exceptional relationship building skills. Ability to lead through influence rather than power.Willing and able to influence success beyond specified Area of Responsibility (AOR).Ability to manage both global and country level initiatives within a matrixed work environment and multiple competing priorities.Willingness to make commitments and consistently meet them.Results focused (both short and long-term). Demonstrates initiative to overcome challenges and achieve success.Balance of humility and self-confidence.Willingness to develop: A deep understanding of general and APi / Chubb specific leadership development concepts and approaches. Ability to filter decision making through a set of strategic leadership principles and system.Capacity to translate complex theories and concepts into actionable thinking and behaviors within the context of the business. Exceptional leadership development facilitation skills. Facilitation skills should reflect adult learning principles, foster inclusion, and inspire learning.Ability to differentiate when to teach and when to coach. Ability to ask insightful questions and make observations that support others in finding their own solutions. Strong consultation and client service skills. Ability to influence leaders at all levels and guide talent decisions throughout the business.
