Collaborating closely with our newsrooms and strategic partners, we spearhead the development of groundbreaking products and technologies.About the Role: As a Lead Software Engineer in the Content Services technology team, you will work in a fast paced environment with a number of technologies including: AWS, service mesh, Kafka, data lake storage and GenAI as well as real-time news systems, automation, web scraping and data extraction. You will play a key role in advancing the transformational effort to modernize our real-time news systems and other content systems that feed and enrich our many products including Newswires, Factiva and the Wall Street Journal. The ideal candidate will be creative, collaborative, poised to offer ideas and recommendations, able to debate the pros and cons of competing solutions in a constructive manner, proactive in resolving impediments, flexible to adapt to a changing environment, eager to learn new skills and adept at critical thinking.
