LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER - TS, REACT, NODE - €500-550/DAY

🏦 Finance⚛️ TypeScript, React, Node💶 €500-550/day🏢 3-days p/week onsite in central Madrid (remote at first)❌ No sponsorship availableA Financial Services company from London that are the trusted partner to the world’s leading private banks and asset managers are opening an office in Madrid.They have already made a couple of Software Engineering hires and are looking for a Lead TypeScript Engineer was a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and technology implementations to manage the team working on their proprietary platform. This is a hands on coding job with leadership responsibilities - it is not hands off management.You must have strong TypeScript + React experience. Backend Node experience is preferred but Java/Kotlin/Scala/Python are also accepted as long as you're happy to use Node.Their team draws on an award-winning legacy in investment advisory, structuring and international distribution, having pioneered alternative asset platforms for over a decade.Working with the world’s first-class asset managers and private banks across private equity, credit, infrastructure and impact to develop innovative solutions for private banks and wealth managers.Requirements:Experience Leading teamsComputer Science or STEM educationStrong experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and web technologiesBackend experience, ideally with TypeScript/Node but Java/Kotlin/Scala/Python are also okayCommitment to maintaining high quality software through the use of automated testing tools such as Jest and Cypress/PlaywrightExperience with Azure DevOps is a plus.Agile, Git and version controlA pragmatic, right-tool-for-the-job mentalityYou must have a Computer Science or STEM education and at least 5-year's commercial experience.
