Job Description Your Mission.
As a Maintenance Technician at Ibis Styles Madrid Airport Valdebebas, your mission will be to ensure that all facilities are in perfect working order, meeting deadlines (especially legal ones) and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both our guests and team.
Your responsibilities will include.
Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.
Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial refrigeration systems, following an established maintenance plan.
Management of External Companies.
Coordinate and manage visits from external companies, handling budgets, scheduling, and monitoring the work performed.
Legal Deadlines Compliance.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with established deadlines, particularly those that are legally required.
Facility Inspections.
Perform regular inspections of the hotel facilities, identifying and resolving potential issues before they affect operations.
Development and Control of Procedures.
Develop and control maintenance procedures, ensuring they are implemented effectively and comply with quality and safety standards.
Administrative Tasks.
Handle administrative tasks for the department, including work documentation, maintenance reports, and inventory tracking.
Budget Management.
Oversee the department’s budget, ensuring proper control of expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Compliance with Regulations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
Energy Savings.
Implement best practices for energy optimization within the hotel’s facilities.
Qualifications About You.

Budget Control and Management.
You have experience controlling maintenance department expenses and managing budgets efficiently.
Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
Energy Efficiency Knowledge.
You are aware of best practices for energy savings and know how to implement solutions that optimize energy consumption in the hotel facilities.
