MANAGER: GTM & TRADE MARKETING

The GTM, Trade Marketing & Business Intelligence Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end go-to-market strategies, executing effective trade marketing campaigns, Branding and providing actionable business insights through data and competitor analysis.
This role combines strategic marketing execution with data-driven decision-making to optimize product launches, market penetration, and trade effectiveness.
Will be the Regional focal point with HQ Coordinating cross-functional teams (sales, product, marketing, Network and Budget) to ensure successful implementation and alignment across the region.
This combined role requires someone who can bridge the gap between marketing, sales, and data analytics to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership 1.
o-To-Market (GTM) Strategy Develop and execute comprehensive GTM plans for new products, services and campaigns.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, product, marketing) to ensure successful launches.
Monitor KPIs to assess the success of GTM strategies, adjusting as needed.

Trade Marketing Lead the planning and execution of trade marketing campaigns in line with sales and marketing objectives.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback and focus group programs to refine trade marketing strategies.
Ensure trade programs are aligned with overall marketing goals and are contributing to sales growth including all type of Events and sponsorships.

Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics Collect, analyze, and interpret sales, market, and customer data to generate insights to support data-based decisions.
Create and maintain dashboards and reports for key stakeholders to track performance against KPIs at a granular level Kick side, SV, Mpesa Agent, CSR, Site, Cluster, Province.
Provide insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitive intelligence to support decision-making.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities to improve marketing and sales strategies.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.
Power BI, Excel, Pivot Tables, V-look up).
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Leadership – this role may have the responsibility of delegating tasks, assigning projects and managing employees´ performance.
Must have technical /professional qualifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
An MBA is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in GTM, Trade Marketing, and/or Business Intelligence roles.
• Strong experience in executing retail and trade marketing campaigns.
• Proven expertise in business intelligence tools and data analysis.

• Lead the planning and execution of trade marketing campaigns in line with sales and marketing objectives.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret sales, market, and customer data to generate insights to support data-based decisions.
